No! It IS deep cherry red. Just bought one yesterday! I will post pics hopefully tomorrow when I pick it up!

yeah like they said its a new color for 2011,close to the red rock though. have not seen too many of them here and was wondering what they look like with mods. Trying to decide on a color for my new jeep. Thanks a ton

the dark cherry red replaced the red rock for 2011. it's just a little bit darker and not so maroon. i've seen one and it looks really really good! :beer:

Check my avatar. My 2011 is deep cherry Pearl. Like they said it's less maroon and has a "metal flake" look.
