Check engine code PO137?
 

I just used my superchips to tell me what my check engine light was. It says it was PO137, O2 sensor 1/2 circuit low. Has anyone dealt with this? From my understanding there are multiple O2 sensors on the jk. Any help would be appreciated.

My thought is that it would be the first O2 sensor but I was told there is 3 on the jk's. Haven't looks cause its a downpour outside. Anyone have to replace one yet?

Well, I got my Solus Pro out and was going to plug in your Jeep's information and try to help you diagnose it, but, I have to have it hooked up to the vehicle. I think you probably have some problem other than an o2 sensor. I did a web search and saw where a lot of people on other vehicles had a problem with their fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter. Let me know what you find out. Sorry I couldnt help more.

P0137 O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2

Bank 1 = Drivers side

Bank 2 = Pass side

sensor 1 = before the cat

sensor 2 = after the cat

Basically the code means your drivers side post cat O2 sensor needs replaced. Reset the code and drive it stock until the code returns then visit the dealer if its under warranty, if not buy the sensor at a parts store and do it in your driveway. If the code only happens when your tune is installed call the techsupport for the product.

Thanks for the info! That site will definately come in handy. The warranty on my jeep has a $100 deductable and I figured if i can replace it myself I might be able to save a few dollars. Thanks again

Regarding the JK 3.8L engine:

Bank 1 is right side (passenger's side), with cylinders 1, 3, & 5 (front to back).

Bank 2 is left side (driver's side), with cylinders 2, 4, & 6 (front to back).

I confirmed this as follows:

1. Called a dealer and asked the service manager. Confirmed.

2. Called another dealer and asked one of the technicians. Confirmed.

3. Disconnected the left upper O2 sensor, and got the code P0052-O2 SENSOR 2/1 HEATER CIRCUIT HIGH
Confirmed.

I think that is a little different than the problem he was having. The problem you described is that the heater in that o2 sensor is bad.

The only problem I addressed in my post was the mis-identification of which is bank 1 and which is bank 2. That info in post #5 is incorrect.

OK, I was just reading number 3 in your post. I was thinking you were talking about a problem you encountered. I was not saying you were wrong. I misunderstood what you were saying.
