Customer preferred packages?
I was looking again at my build sheet that I finally had emailed to me (got the JK used) and I was curious what these items consist of
Customer Preferred Package 2TG Customer Preferred Package 24G |
I think the 24G is the power window package.

There are some standard packages available for each Wrangler model.
U.S. models B: available for X C: available for (2WD or 4WD) Unlimited X S: available for X and (2WD or 4WD) Unlimited X G: available for Sahara and (2WD or 4WD) Unlimited Sahara R: available for Rubicon and Unlimited Rubicon U: available for (4WD) Unlimited Right-Hand-Drive Canadian models B: available for X S: available for X and Unlimited X G: available for Sahara and Unlimited Sahara R: available for Rubicon and Unlimited Rubicon Those, I know for a fact. As for the number 4, an educated guess would lead me to believe that the vehicle comes with an Automatic Transmission and quite possibly 3.73 Gears. I say this because I noticed that in my searches, a number 3 seems to indicate a Manual Transmission along with 3.21 Gears. As for the 2TG, I would have to venture a guess at the Trailer Tow Group. I can't say for sure. Quick Order or Customer Preferred Packages are usually created to make it easier for the dealership to place orders with the manufacturer. These packages are typically indicative of what is popular, so to speak. |
