ESP diable works on 2014
SO I have been searching the forums and google about this ESP disable trick everybody does to disable the ESP, ABS, and that brake thingy but it only states it works up to year 2012, so I decided to give it a go, the worst that would happen is I would have to solder the wire I cut back together and try to find another solution.
I removed my enter console and found the black box with 4 wires going to it, found the purple with light blue tracer and snipped it, started the Jeep and the ABS and Jeep with lines lit up on the dash. Now to wait for my momentary push button to arrive and wire that bad boy in. took about 15 mins total, I did a lot of testing, start stop, connect wire, start stop, disconnect wire and so on. |
Haven't heard of this trick. Tried the whole turn the steering wheel this way and then that way trick and I just can't get it to work so I have up. Might look into this one.

Doesn't it disable automatically when in 4-lo? Or is that the point, that you want to be able to disable in 4-high or 2wd?

There is already a really good write up available on this forum.
ESP Kill Switch Writeup Not that yours won't be good too, just that there are a lot of great write ups for those that wish to look them up. It is a handy button for winter conditions, and playtime! |
