Rubicon Unlimited w AEV 2" Spacer Kit

4 Attachment(s)
First post to the forum and new Jeep owner. Couldn't leave well enough alone and decided to put the AEV 2" Spacer kit on the vehicle this past weekend. Now the delima to move forward and put 33's on it or stop here for a while. I commute 45 miles each day and really don't want a bunch of tire noise or big drop in gas mileage. Any input greatly appreciated.

A one inch gain over stock ruby tires is not worth it. Truly a waste of money. Welcome to the forum. Give it a month or two you will want 35s

I have this lift & 1.5 inch spacers on my 12 rubicon JKU & am totally satisfied with it. Here in Cokeville, Wyoming we'er surrounded by State & Federal lands with endless two track roads & areas where no road driving is still an option with many places where locking up is the only way to keep going. 35 inch tires may look better but for the added wear & tear & loss of milage not worth it to me. I'm still running the original tires & will run them at least 25,000 miles before switching to the 33 inch 255/80/17 which will perfectly match my needs for looks, capability & economy.

Does this kit level the jeep out or still keep the front rake?

Didn't notice to big of a change in gas with 33" although I do want 35" now. I have your same lift 33x12.5x15 duratracs. FWIW I up graded my shocks to OME long travel and ditched the extension brackets and it made a big difference.

I want that lift, what an awesome set up. What brand is it?

Challenger 4 post lift with two rolling hydraulic jacks. This was the first project worked on with the new lift and we could not be happier with the purchase decision. The rolling jacks made everything so much easier as it allowed the frame to be lifted independently of the axles.
