Default Funny story

Okay, so my buddy is kind of a dick. He's one of those people who always tries to make himself look better by putting other people down - you know the type. So last week he bought a brand new Toyota Highlander. We were at a gathering Saturday night and he was showing off his new suv to everyone who would listen. I politely went outside with him to take a look at his new toy, and I smiled politely as he showed off all the "great features" like the power heated seats and the backup camera and the overpriced nav system, etc etc . And of course each whiz-bang feature he demonstrated was accompanied by comments such as "can your Jeep do THIS?" and "I'll bet your Jeep can't do THIS". The best one of all was when when he pushed a BUTTON to put it in 4wd.....I just smiled politely and let him show off his toy (I did slip once and comment that he would need a can opener to get the top off of his, but mostly I just let him have his time in the spotlight).

So anyway, we all ended up spending the night there because we were drinking and the weather was getting bad, and we awoke the next morning to a foot of fresh snow. I hopped in the Jeep and drove away, right over the 3-foot pile of snow left behind by the plow. I got about 5 blocks away before I realized I had left my wallet laying on the table, so I turned around and went back. When I got back, I found my buddy sitting in his Highlander spinning the wheels while my two buddies were behind him pushing as hard as they could (and getting nowhere).

I went inside and grabbed my wallet, then without a word I just pulled in front of him (again, right over the 3-foot pile of snow left behind by the plow), hooked up the tow strap and pulled him out. Then I smiled and said "can your Toyota do THAT?", as I hopped back in my Jeep and drove away.

Man, you should have busted out the camera and told him "don't worry, this is just for my Jeep forum"

That story is GREAT!
