What TRANSMISSION??
What current TRANSMISSION(s) are AVAILABLE IN THE EUROPEAN jk'S WITH THE CRD??
If the CRD JK is ever sold in the USA I would bet it will be a automatic ONLY!!:angry:

I checked Jeep.co.uk and guess what:
1). Ruby diesel - NO manual - Auto only
2). X & Sahara - get a manual with their Diesels
Hope thats not the case when a diesel goes into production here - ya gotta have a manual

What ARE we doing on a thread from 2006??
Anyway, Diesel Rubicons are made with manual and with auto. Mine's auto and it's a better buy, as the manuals are geared so highly they can't reach their top speed. Furthermore, the manual gearbox is weaker and can't shouldn't be tuned.

At this speed:
1- Steering: SUCKS big time
2- Brakes: Become non exisant
3- Noise: CAN YOU HEAR MEEEEE?
No thanks, I'm fine with 120-130 km/h on highways (hate 'em anyhow) in my Jeep...
