Speedo is electronic, considering you need to program the aftermarket tire size to correct the speedo.

If you get the bugs worked out this will be twice the motor of the so called modern day 'Hemi' and as stated I bet you see upper teens or lower 20's in mpgs.

Its just a shame this isn't a plug and play install yet!

My '08 Z71 4wd LT2 extended cab with 3.73s gears and 32" A/Ts gets 20-21 mpg on the hwy as long as you don't go over 80 mph. It has plenty of power for towing and is extremely smooth. You can get a lot more power out of them with just tuning and bolt-ons too. Not like the speed/density Chrysler crap.

I'm jealous, I'd much rather have a LSx engine than a "Hemi" swap. Btw, the 5.3l isn't a LS1...

i'm subscribing to this one, good luck! i'm with atl jk, i would much rather have the LSx or 5.3, than the hemi everyone is drooling over!

The 5.3l is a LSx engine, its not a LS1.

i know its an LSx but i will be refering to it as an LS1 makes my life easier, anyways the final goal of this build is to have a twin turbo 5.3, they are really good with boost and have a the ability to handle alot of it with the correct tune....

Eveything on the jk goes threw the pcm's from wipers head lights fog lights turn signals all instermets and even the radio.
