Default TJ Backseat Mounting Brackets *JK RELATED*

THIS IS 100% JK RELATED!!!

Does anyone know the Mopar part numbers for TJ backseat mounting brackets? I'm pretty sure everyone can figure out where I'm going with this...

TJ backseats are obviously the same width as the rear end of an unlimited.... I have seats, I just need the brackets.

Are you sure the seats are the same width? The JK is much wider than a TJ.

This is for a third row seat. The back end of an unlimited is exactly the same width as a TJ. The factory Jeep reps in Moab were nice enough last year to be giving out folding yardsticks as swag. There was a lot of measuring done.

My father has an '03 Rubicon and an '06 Rubicon Unlimited. He took the back seat out of the '03 almost as soon as he brought it home, it's the trail jeep. Since then we have not been able to locate the two plates that bolt to the floor. The plates are different between the '03 and the '06, but they can be bolted in using a different set of holes. We move them back and forth on the rare occasion we need the seat in the trail jeep. I'm planning on confiscating one of the seats for the brand new JK, but we really need to find a set of TJ plates to do this. I'm searching the forum and online and coming up with nothing.

You want the LJ plates then. They are adjustable the TJ ones aren't. I have an 06 LJ also. It's hard to believe they are the same size. I'm going to have to check now. So the extra 7" is all fluff between the seat and outside wall of the vehicle? strange.

66.7 in vs 73.7 in

Keep in mind, this seat is to go behind the JK back seat that's already there. I think the space between the fenders is like 42"... and the TJ seat is 40-41" I believe. (going from memory)

Well, lots of searching through parts diagrams... for 2005 the part numbers were:

56052668AA
56052669AA

Which brings up no results in google. Anyone know where I can find part prices by mopar part number?

If you search, someone has alreadt done this.

Check the install for "3rd row seats" in my signature to see the backer plate below the tub. You'll need that to make sure the bolts don't pull throught the tub.

Seems your sig is a no show....

I found it in another thread though, we haven't quite gotten this far but I think I'll plan for having some kind of plate before starting the install for real. Thanks for the info!

Well it'd be awesome if you get it to work. I still have the back seat from my '04 Rubicon. Would that seat work with the '06 LJ brackets?
