Question Poll: How to store soft top when down on tailgate

A poll:
How should the soft top "sunrider" bars for lack of a better term be secured to the JK when the soft top is put down?
I've seen this done both ways. Which one is correct? I vote the bars should be strapped down in a horizontalish position along the body to keep the top from 'parachuting'. But I've seen at shows and other owners strap the bars to the Roll Cage.

Down. The JK includes a strap for doing so.

This is the right way. Before I realized how to do it the "right way", I used to have it laying on the roll bar too. Once you make a couple of additional folds on the soft top to where each fold section isn't too wide, it'll actually lay down parallel to the body like the picture above shows.
