4HI or 4LOW in snow?

I normally drive in 2wd on the roads and let the jk's nanny controls take care of things, if the snow gets to be more than a foot deep or is drifted then i use 4 hi, I have never had to use 4 lo on the road, now goin out to play in the snow is another story,

top speed 4L is 45mph, 65 4h, 25mph was the max in order to shift to 4h while driving

4 hi for regular flat road cruise. I use 4 low in 1st gear for crawling down icy hills. I have an automatic so the added engine braking helps keep it in control. Worst thing you can do going down an icy hill is hit the brakes or get going too fast.
Just got through watching idiots pass me on a downhill while I crawl at 5mph or less down the hill. they get impatient, pass at around 15mph, hit brakes and spin off into curb *LOL* dumbasses. Our first snow in the Seattle area and people here cannot drive in snow or ice.

I have found over the years of driving in my various Jeeps that it depends on the depth of snow whether I use 4HI or 4LOW. 99% of the time that I drive in the snow as everyone else has said, 4HI does the job great. But there has been once or twice when we have gotten more than a foot and a half of snow in a very short period (not enough time for plows to clear the road) and 4LOW was much more useful in these situations. When there is that much snow on the roads and you have to be out (friends or family stuck at work or something similar) you won't be going much faster than 10 mph anyway. Plus when that snow is heavy wet snow and it is piling up against the axles and other things in front of the Jeep, the extra torque really helps push through it.
By the way nothing is more fun than picking someone up and having them ask you what the gear whine from 4LOW is

The only time I use 4l is when going down my steep driveway after a good storm. 4l and 2nd gear (auto transmission) and she'll crawl down the steepest of hills at a comfortable speed requiring no need to use the brakes.
