I am hardly able to use the nav in my Jeep. Most address arnt even in the system and 80% of the time, when i do actually find the location Im looking for in the POI, it trys to send me to one 500 plus miles away. I think an update could help, but dont want to spend the money and be dissapointed.

What version of the database do you have? Maybe you could PM Rednroll some sample addresses/POIs and he can check if they have been updated???

Well, the new map makes mine 4 years old, so I ordered an update and got it today (I updated the first post with the version information).

The map DVD also came with the latest MyGIG SW Rev which I just finished loading. I just started the map load (supposedly takes 1 hour).

Anyone have updated/current numbers for the database? I sent an email to them to see what they are selling. I noticed they dropped the price to $150 (plus tax), so now I'm willing to buy every 3 years.

I'll know tomorrow after I install the newest maps. I did install (update) the software to 2.404 tonight, it came with the maps. I must have misunderstood but I thought I would now have uConnect but I do not. I'll have to do some more reading to see what I missed.

Is there a 3 digit code printed on the map disk?

On the disk is uConnect 730N (RER). On the shipping info the description is "Chrysler RER Map Update NA 2014" Once the maps are installed tomorrow I'll post all the system info.

Found out what I'm missing in order to have uConnect - an OEM microphone. Sounds very simple to install. Manana.
