Im not sure if this has been asked but, how do you remove the trail rated badge and the Jeep lettering from the JK

Try using a heat gun that works for most things that have a adhesive backing.

I'd try a heat, heat gun or hair dryer, then use dental floss to cut through the softened adhesive. Then take some acetone to clean up what is left. Acetone will take off almost anything and will not hurt the paint. You can buy it a wal-mart.

I left the Jeep sitting in the sun on a hot day and peeled the stickers off with my finger nail. The badge I took off with fishing line with a sawing motion. The sticky residue that was left came off with some elbow greese and some acetone.

I would use WD-40 to remove the sticky stuff left once the badge is off. acetone is some strong shit. I would use that on paint. Thats just me though.

so the consensus is pretty much the same, use some fishing line with a sawing motion to take off the badge?

Fishing line or dental floss, whatever small stuff you've got laying around. I used goof off for the residue. Whatever you use to get the adhesive residue off make sure you wash it with soap and water and rinse with plenty of water afterwards. This is both to clean up the alcohol to prevent any clear coat damage and to ensure a proper bond with the new adhesive. It sounds like your relocating the badges so make sure you get any wax off the area you're putting them so you get a proper bond.
