I was hoping someone could help me figure out the best backspacing for my setup.

The stock jk 65.5" wide and I know if requires a 4.5 backspaced wheel to run a 35x12.5 tire.

However my Dana 60 is 66" in the rear and 68 3/4" in the front.

I was looking at the aev saverge wheel which has 5.25 backspacing. which I know will work on the front but on the rear it will be an inch in from the optimal 4.5 setup.

Is this ok for the rear?

Well on the rear it would be like running a 5" backspace because its 1/4" wider on each side.

you can actually get away with a higher offset wheel since the axle is longer. 5" is still kinda high, so you may want spacers.

You've got a very odd combination. Normally the 60 rear is ordered to match the front. A 60 front MUST be wider (a real 60, not a 60 center with 44 outers) than a 44 due to the longer wheel ends. JK rear 60s usually come in 2 widths, 1 that is used with a 44 front and the other for a 60 front.

To answer your original question, I'd run a spacer on the rear.
