After looking for ways to safely mount my cb that is out of the way and doesn't move or rattle, I decided to do this: I bought a piece of 1 1/2 by 3/4 inch square tube and cut it to 37 inches. I then welded to tabs on the ends and drilled a 5/1& hole in each one. I mounted the bar up by the top of the windshield with a bolt going through the top of the cage. Then mounted the cb to the bar and fits perfect and out if the way. Everything cost about $75 bucks. Sorry no pics available right now.
