Do these have a time out feature or do you have to manually turn them off?

They have a thermal overload (bimetallic strip) that shuts them off if they get too hot, so there is an auto off function. Also, if wired as described in the OP they will not have power when your rig is switched off.

So these have held up great over extended use and seat time? I have been looking for something for my Sport for our winter travels.

I've had mine for 2 years now. They are working great. The rocker switch seems to have loosened up a little. I found replacements on Amazon pretty cheap. I will likely change them out after the cold season.

That's great to hear! I will pick up a set for the front seats before I head up to NC in October. Thanks for the input.

Digging up an older thread. Looks like an awesome write up. Im now looking into doing this myself, any chance we can get the images back up?

I see only the last few images missing, but it's pretty straightforward once you're in there doing it. My warmseats are one of the best things I've done. My top is off most the time and they really help in keeping the core body toasty. I did have one stop working within a year and the company warranteed it with no questions asked. They sent me a whole new set for a seat even though I only had one panel stop working. No issues since then and it's been a few years.
