Look at the 1st post. All you need is in that post. Your height will depend on your Jeep. It's not that hard to do, I did it!!

Still use mine, this spring it will become somewhat permanent storage for my hardtop, bought a softtop today!

Well, you got your Jeep from the same place I got mine. I may do a hard top stand much like yours, and encorporate some of the other suggestions as well. I think I like the OP's wider top boards though. I just know I'll "miss" somehow if they are as narrow as yours, lol.

great idae, put some wheels on the bottom and i can push it right into my garage.

True.. the logic is that in lumber the dimensions are measured after they are milled but before they are plained. Taking off the rough wood results in the off measurements.

Measure twice... cut once. Tricks of the trade.

New to the forum. Made my first thread with pics attached of my black unlimited sahara with mods.
Saw this thread , thought what a great idea for the hardtop so I built one as well. Added carpet to the top, made a small surrounding lip and added casters and the back two have brakes to lock In place . Perfect for rolling around in the garage or if I need to move it outside.

Thanks again for the great idea. Money and time well spent.
