I have a 2.5" lift with 35" km2 tires. I also have bushwacker flat fenders. I have no rubbing issues at all. You will need a 4.5 backspacing. Here's some pics.

I'm fairly certain you the only thing stopping a stock jeep from running 35's are the fender flairs and your backspacing with stock rims, so you can do flat fenders or a cheap budget boost to give you a few inches or a body lift and fire on some 1.5" wheel spacers to finish it off
