Body Mount Bolt Torque
I just installed a M.O.R.E. body lift to get a set of Olympic Reversibars from hitting the stock Rubicon rock rails. Now my wife claims the ride is to rough. M.O.R.E. states in the instructions to use your own judgment on how much to torque the body mount bolts. Being anal I looked in my service manual and is appears to call for 80 Ft/Lbs torque on the bolts. So I torqued all of them to 80 Ft/Lbs and with Loctite. They did not seem that tight when I loosened them up originally. So I am wondering if I over torqued them and that is causing the rough ride. Does anyone have any experience on body mounts that could shed some light on this subject?

Thanks Robar
I wonder if I have torqued them enough that it compresses the rubber and then it becomes more ridged causing a rough ride?

Hard tell if they bulge
I really find it hard to tell if they bulge, I guess I could put a digital caliper around a few of the mounts and then let the bolt loose to see if it changes?

Go crawl under the jeep . . . drink a couple of beers . . . go in the house and tell your wife you took out the body lift and take her for a ride. I bet that will "soften" the ride.

Thanks Blue
I double checked the torque spec with the local dealer and then followed BLUE's advise, it worked perfectly. She said it is back to riding just like new.
Thanks
