my first post....... Custom sub box for 12"
So real quick. I just bought this jeep about a month ago and have never had a car with a stock system. This is stage one (the most important to me) of the audio build. The "cubby hole" in the trunk area is good airspace and the JL stealth box inspired this. I'd be happy to answer any q's ya'll have.
It took me about a week of building every night and I have no idea how much but probably $100 worth of supplies. The sub is a JL 12wx-4 and I am somewhat happy with it. I think it needs a little break in time (ebay $65 shipped) Clarion shitty 300 watt amp that I had sitting in the garage for a few yrs.
There will be about 20 photos of the build coming............

My first post as well...
My first post as well... I like the concept but are you sure you didn't overshoot the airspace requirements of that sub - seems like an awful big box for a single JL sub, which usually call for really tight airspaces
-It seems for a build where you're trying to conserve space, you made a larger than necessary box.
I just recently did my system as well (2008 2 dr JK) and I will be posting pics and video by next weekend (just tying up the loose ends)
all in all, very nice work!
