My 2007 developed low end knock at 180000kms. I replaced bearings but it came back. Finally swapped in a rebuilt motor. The old crank had alot score marks on the bearing journals. The engine swap wasnt too difficult. Lets see how long this one lasts.

over 140,000... two power steering pumps, one alt, one water pump, one knock sensor, still ticks at start up and has since about 100,000 miles ago. Synthetic oil. Still turns the tires at 75 to 80 and I get about 14 to 16 mpg. Only burns a small amount of oil... 1/4 of a quart between changes. I have noticed some seaping of coolant around the intake manifold... but it is minor at this point. I have thought it was not going to last as long as it has, but it keeps going strong.
I worry more about the auto tranny giving up....
