Default CB Radio interfering with oil pressure gauge??

So i installed the Glow Shift Oil Pressure Gauge and Adapter awhile ago and the other day i went to use my CB Radio and everytime i key up the Mic the Oil Pressure Gauge drops to 0 and when i un-key the Mic it returns to normal ??? .. i have double checked the ground connections and all associated wiring and have become stumped ...

Anyone have any ideas for me to try ...Thanks

Is it a wire sensor to the gauge? If so wrap the wire around a ferrite as close to the gauge as you can get. Radio shack should still carry the ones that come apart so you can wrap a wire around it. That should do the trick.

Or you could try rerouting either the coax or gauge wire.

Take the positive and neg wires of the cb and twist them together and wire it directly to the battery. You can use alum foil to shield the wires as well. The signal wire and the cb wires should not be close to each in anyway.

The wires are not routed anywhere near each other ... CB is mounted on the roof (overhead console) Cb power/ground wires run down passenger A-Piller, coax runs along passenger roll bar to rear of jeep....Oil Sensor wires run through drivers side hole in fire wall to sending unit ... CB is connected to AUX Battery, Oil Pressure Unit runs off main System ..

Tried the Cable Ferrite Trick with no luck .. Tried Separating Coax apart from CB Power wires, also no luck ...

Did you put the ferrite as close to the gauge as possible?
