It makes your side markers function as turn signals and blink instead of just staying lit.

So, I've had this mod done for over two years and everything has been fine.

UNTIL...

First, a little background. I have trimmed factory flares, and replaced my marker lights with generic amber LED's from Autozone. Well, with a trip to Clayton and a little more flex than usual, I managed to rip off one light, and break the other...

Back to my current problem. I got new lights and was installing them tonight. Right side went on fine. Tested and all is good. Moved to the left side. Connected the light, and went to test it out. Suddenly I have NO PARKING LIGHTS OR TAIL LIGHTS! I disconnected the light, but still nothing.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Any ideas??

Check your fuses, might have a short to ground?

Check your owner's manual; it has a better description of the various fuses. One of the things I've found out (the hard way!) is that the left side is wired and fused separately from the right side. And the descriptions, even those in your Owner's Manual, can be a bit cryptic, but once you start dealing with these issues, you'll soon learn. I dealt with this when installing my 4HI locker switches and had problems after an addicent where they have to remove the dash and the repair facility were totally unaware of how lockers work (duh!!!).

Good luck with this one tho....
