Default Tires

I'm getting a set of mud tires next month for my new crush and I'm still not positive on what to get. I was thinking the hankook mt or maybe the Goodyear mtr. Anyone with these tires? How do they perform on/off road.

I just got a crush 4 door myself. When I can, I am going for Goodyear MTR or Duratec, 35s is what I will put on my jeep.

Have already done bushwhacker flairs, LED headlights, and black COD rims.

The Goodyear MTR's are a very highly rated tire as are the Goodyear Duratrac. I'd definitely look into those.

I just got a set of the Hankook Dynapro MTs in 33x12.5x15 size.

They look great and are not loud at all on the highway.

I was wheeling this weekend in a mud hole and ended up stuck. I don't think that is a reflection on the tires as much as it is a reflection on the mud hole. It didnt look that deep as I was going in.

I'm I doing something wrong or getting confused somewhere. I've read in other threads that the DTD discount is around $50. Yet I keep seeing guys getting full tire and wheel packages for what I'm pricing tires on there site for. Is the discount a lot more than $50? If so it changes my entire plan and schedule for buying new tires. Please school me.

When I price the same tires alone I get over $1300 with the warranties.

Yep. Discount tire direct gives the best deals no doubt. It's just such a hard decision what to get!!!

But is it enough of a discount that rims are basically free or is my math off somewhere. Please elaborate.

I just put Kumho Road Venture MT's on mine (35's) and I love them so far - tested them out a little over the weekend and they hooked up on everything!
