Default Cell Phone Mount Solutions

Anyone has figured out the best way to mount your cell phone in the JK? I'm sick and tired of having my phone in the cup holder.

Default I scanned this in...just for you!

This is the solution! I originally had a mount off to the right of the head unit...just seemed too obtrusive. I bought one of these things at Wally Mart for $4.72 and put it right on top of the dash above the stereo. It works fantastic!! The phone won't even fly off when wheeling! When it loses it's "sticky" you wash it it warm soapy water and plop it back down again! By far the cheap and easy solution. You won't regret it.

looks like me and mrsig had the same idea, except I mounted mine in a different place. I don't have power windows so I mounted mine here, easy to reach. I can see who's calling before I take it out of the clip.

I usually get one of those belt clips and just clip it to the sun visor.

Yep... I can't even make my garage opener stick to the visor... I had to velcro that one down below... :-)

Default Word Of Warning

I really like the sticky pads for the top of the dash, but I made the mistake of putting one directly over the compass sensor. I have placed sunglasses and other small things up there without any issue, but when I put my cel phone there, it threw my compass out of calibration. It just took a simply re-ralibration, per the manual, to fix, but now I know to leave the phone elsewhere.

Watch out for condensation from that Diet Coke. Also watch out for my drunk girlfriend trying to place your cell phone in the cup holder only to find out a glass of water is already there.
