mine just started doing it aboot a week ago. its just the drivers side airbag light that comes on not the passanger side. it comes on goes off comes on goes off, not just a steady light. ive disconnected my battery, still does the same thing. will the clock spring cause this? 2007 X, auto 76,662 miles. it dont bother me that its not working just annoying listening to the chime everytime it turns off. thanks dave
I traded the jeep in and bought a 12 rubicon. But I noticed when I put my stock rims with 33" tires on the light didn't come on at all? Idk just something I noticed.

hi
Hey, im from Canada and here we have an extended warranty (10year / 150,000mile) for the replacement of the clockspring on the 2007 JK Wrangler.
Hope it helps you guys out. Just saved a few hundred bucks.

Just filed my complaint. I have a 2010 Rubicon with 47,000 miles. I contacted customer service. They said I had no recalls or extended warranty for the clockspring. 2007 RT hand drives did have an extended warranty.

And, to ask the dealership for customer assistance on the repair (which they are not going to do -- $450 repair).
Jeep customer rep said that unless the NHTSA specifically requires the recall, it won't happen. So, we need anyone to file a NHTSA safety complaint so the other year groups are recalled as well. Here's the link again to file: https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/.
