Default JKS JSPEC 2" lift

I was wondering if anyone here was running this kit? Can you use the factory shocks with this kit or will you need new ones. I know you can use the factory shocks up to 2" of lift but I was not sure if this kit gave more than advertised lift or not. I know it does not come with shocks in any of the kits I saw listed.

I looked at this kit a while back, I think I remember it yielding a fair amount more than 2". More like 3-4". I didn't want that so I skipped. I think your best bet may to be to mount it up and buy shocks depending on actual height gained?

I just helped a buddy, BLK07, install this lift last weekend. We did not measure before and after but it looked great. It looked so good, I bought the same lift for my JKUR. I will do a before and after measurements and post here if you are still interested. Super easy install, it took us 3 hours to fully complete the install... this was my first lift install FYI. I am thinking when I install it for my Jeep I should be able to cut a half hour or so.

i am running this setup and love it it gave me around 3" before i installed 35" spare and winch and bumper... i figured about 2.5" after that... i did put shock extensions on for flex reasons and wheel spacers..

RK-1,

From other lift kit installs, supplied end links go on the rear and the rears go to the front.... is that the same with this lift? My lift just came today and wondering if the adjustable end links that this came with should go on the rear?

Thanks
