Default AEV Procal

So, I have just been offered a AEV Procal for $100.00.

Is it worth it, what exactly would I use it for?

I have a 4" lift 35's if this helps out.

Thanks,

A good price. I was looking at adding a ProCal to recalibrate speedo etc after the 35s are added.

Make sure the previous owner resets the module. If not you just bought a $100 paper weight.

Thank you, I wasn't sure if that was the case or not, but he said it has never been used.

Yes you can turn it off with Pro Cal. Make sure the box says 2012 or 2013 ready. It will be a neon green sticker on the box.

You can set it to 0 and the light will just go out very simple and easy to use, to the op like someone else already said make sure they reset the ProCal or just spend 50$ more and get your own just encase, also it will help to correct your speedo by entering in your new tire size.

How do you know if it has been reset? Maybe a new one for piece of mind...

Thanks,
You can use it to set the tire size in the JK's computer.
Go the the AEV ProCal web site and read about what else it can do. You can also download a user manual for it.

As far as knowing if it has been reset, you won't know until you get it, and hook it up to your JK.

Exactly for the piece of mind I'd spend the extra 50$ because you won't know until you get it that it has been reset or not.
