Greetings from the Czech Republic
Hi, friends !
My name is Josef. I’m from the Czech Republic and Wrangler is my biggest love (with the exception of my wife
) My new Rubicon is at the bottom of the message……. I sold my Rubi TJ04 in December 06 and I bought in the USA new 2007 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon in Jeep Green two weeks ago . Second Jeep (Wrangler Sahara in Red Rock Crystal) is for my friends from Prague….Picture is from the USA, before the transport to the Czech Republic… In this time both Jeeps are on the road to me…..They will be first Wranglers 2007 in our country ! ! !

Welcome Josef, who say's this forum isn't world wide. Beautiful JK's, 2 in one driveway, nice touch. Both look great. And you'll learn very quickly that we all type to fast and our english is borderlined, no sweat at all, we understandsd each other.

what is the price of the rubicon in Checoslovaquia?
Can you tell me the estimated price of the Rubicon in Prague?
Are any options available?
I may go from Spain and buy it there. I am on the waiting list in Switzerland.

I bought Wranglers in the USA,….not in the Czech Republic……..
And why?
1] Delivery time
I can’t order any EU Wranglers in our country these days.
First orders will be accepted in March 07 with delivery in July 07 and this is very late for me. We go to Romanian Alps in June,…..
[ and EU Rubicons will be available to order in September, October..]
2]Price
I paid:
MSRP in the USA 33 750 USD , transport to the Czech Republic 1500 USD, duty in EU 10% 3525 USD,.....total...38775 USD
Official price [in our country] for this same vehicle in the same option is 48 295 USD…
3] Diesel
Wranglers in the Czech Republic [maybe in the whole EU] for this year are available only in diesel,
I don’t like diesel……

About mods……
They are available a lot of,……but the problems are pretty similar….[ delivery time and price]
I buy them in the USA,…it’s much more better…..but much more difficult…
For my new Rubi I bought many Mopar’s mods and I ordered Flexatrunk through Quadratec…All mods [ without Flexatrunk] are in a container at the ship [with my Wranglers] …The voyage will finish tomorrow in Bremerhaven, then three days railway and then …….I’ll be happy !!!
P.S. European Alps are beautiful…..
