Default Steps that fit over stock rubi rails?

Needing some guidance in my search for steps that I can use with a pair of rubi rails I was given. I have read that the ACE brand will work but didn't know if there were more options available. I'm not going to be doing rock crawling, just light dirt at times. Would prefer a wider step to make it easier for very short girlfriend and her son to get in and out easier.

You could bend up some tubing and weld a step on to the rails as I've seen other people do. If you're not good at bending I think Evo and Dominion Off road both sell a kit that you could weld on.

Poison Spyder has. DIY Rico step kit that welds to the rubi rail. I ran them for a couple years.

Only other option that bolts on over rubi rails I've seen, besides the ACE sliders (which I have and love), are some bolt on Foldable steps I think are made by rugged ridge.

Edit: found them, they're by M. O. R. E.

The problem with a 2 slider configuration is the weight you will add almost 100lbs with the ace bolt on steps. You can weld on a step to your rubi rail and only add a little weight. You can also sell your rubi rails for $100 and buy a stand alone step slider all in one.

I agree except I don't agree with the price on the Rubicon rails. That is way to low of a price.

Would it be possible to grind a groove in the rail for the steps to fit? The ACE steps look like they would work great, just out of my price range especially with the $75 shipping on top of it.

I use the Ace plus rubi rails. Works fine. And I mainly play in the rocks.

Buy your Ace rails from Northridge and get free shipping plus the club discount. I'm happy with mine and run them over my Rubicon stock rails.
