Default Tuffy Security Deck vs Tuffy Security Enclosure

I am looking to buy either the Tuffy Security Deck ($457) or the Tuffy Security Enclosure ($197) for a JKU. I am wondering if the security DECK is worth the extra $260! Has anyone had or seen both of these? Is the security deck really worth the extra $260? Differences? Opinions? Help me decide!!

Has anyone seen these any cheaper?

i have both and the more expensive one, the one with the sides, back and top is much much nicer. more secure, built nicer, more solid. the cheaper one with just the top and back is okay but i'm not too fond of how it attaches to the jeep and it's not as secure.

I have the enclosure. I like that I can lock the trunk to lock it and there is no way for someone to reach in since the sides prevent that. The trays on the sides are nice too. Mounted a .50 cal ammo box in one of them.

So the more expensive one includes side panels. Is the steel used on both the same thickness?

You have the cheaper one? That comes with trays?

After doing some research, it looks like the cheaper security enclosure is a whole lot smaller than the security deck! It doesn't look like the security enclosure goes all the way to the back of the seat in a JKU. The security deck looks like it goes right to the back of the rear seats in the JKU. The security deck looks like it has about 3 times the lockable storage of the security enclosure. Can someone confirm this?

Also, does the security deck give you access to the 12V outlet that is next to the sub-woofer?

Both of them are supposed to work with the 2 door or the 4 door. I want more lockable storage and a place to put stuff when you have the top off so it can't blow out.

I had the Security deck in my 2011 2 dr. The 2007-2010 are different than the 2011-2012. On my 2 dr it only had 2 half inch bolts holding it in, unless you want to drill into the tub to add extra bolts, which I did not! The 4 dr has 4 bolt holding it in so a bit better, but would take someone with a 1/2 ratchet 2 mins or less to get into.

I ended up selling to make more room for my dog.

The bolts on the Security Deck are exposed??? They aren't exposed carriage bolts? That's not secure!!

What's up with the diamond-plate DeeZee box? That looks like it is black chrome - is it? I like that! How is that secured to your Jeep?
