Almost looks like a spot for a microphone. Any ideas? They are on both sides. Thanks.

The funny thing is that they are perforated all the way through. If this was an Audi or Mercedes, I would think it was a sensor location for rear seat HVAC control. Sadly in our JKs, they didn't even route any warm air ducts under the front seats to help put some heat back there!

The window switches are Lit (in some models) when the Headlights are on and the heat builds up.

They do nothing. I finally took the console apart tonight to put rear seat heater switches in. Btw, those lights in the rear window switches are LED so they do not get hot! Here's a pic of the back of them. I guess they could vent heat build up under the console, but I don't think there's anything under there that gets hot! Click image for larger version

ID:	520624 Btw, just pull the plastic trim piece up (that is right above these on the inside of the console, in front of the hinge thing) and you can see the back of these. Here is where I put my rear seat heater switches: Click image for larger version

OK, OK. Now you need to do a write up on the rear heated seats you are working on.
