Default New Smittybilt X2O 10K winch on 10A bumper with end caps removed.

This week I began the modification of my 2016 Rubicon Hard Rock JKU by removing the ends of the 10A bumper for a trip I am taking this weekend and also installing a Smittybilt X20 10K winch with synthetic winch line. I used the Maximus 3 winch mounting plate and winch hook anchor and the Smittybilt fairlead. The products from Maximus 3 were of very high quality and with my limited mechanical ability moderately easy to install. The installation took about 3.5 hours with the help of a friend. Photos finished bumper are included below.

Warn rock crawler from the get go. Pushed many of things out of our way with front and rear since 2009. Solid as a tank.

Does the rear have a tire carrier? If so, does it rattle and any pics?

Yes same brand and type. The rear dring hook has punched thru two front ends of cars that ran into the back of her. Not a scratch on the bumper. Solid as a tank like the front. The tire is Mickey Thompson Baja atzp3 315/70/17. Heavy set. My wife is small and she has to lift the carrier onto the bumper to get it to line up. She likes it. I talked to warn and was told from day one it will sag a bit to get it seated to prevent rattles. It makes some noise but nothing we notice with top off or on normal roads. Washed out roads you will hear the wiggle. Nothing that concerns us. Bad picture but should work. Has a rubber like isolater that prevents rattles.
