Thanks for all the detailed info, Scooby. The Exo looks fantastic on your rig. Seemingly odd question, but how far above normal top height is the rack? I only have about 2" of clearance in the garage I have to park in for work, so figured I'd check before I got too serious about getting one.
Thanks!

BEST WAY TO DETERMINE THE RACK HEIGHT FROM THE GROUND:

Because each jeep is different we found the following to be the easiest to do.

A person can take a measurement from the rear cargo floor to the top of the EXO-TOP rack as shown. This will allow you to get a total measurement based of each Jeep regardless of lift and tires.

From the floor of the cargo area to the top of the rack is just under ( 46.25” ). A person can then add the height of their jeep from the ground to the cargo floor to find the total with the rack installed.

Hope this helps..

If you can get a used top for cheap that is my first suggestion, even if the top is bad. Just be sure all these parts listed above are included.

Quadratec sells these if you need new:

Thanks for the info - hoping to have this ordered and installed by the end of July.

Is that rack strong enough to store a heavy spare tire?

I’m assuming that any Thule or Yakima accessory mounts directly to the cross bars without any adapters?

Correct. These are Yakima JayLow racks. They simply clamp to the cross bars.

I have the Bow Downs from Yakima - they’ll definitely work just fine. I was hoping to stick with my Thules for both the kayak and ski/snowboard racks. The snowboard carrier will work with a round bar, but it just looks to me like the Thule kayak racks are designed to fit square bars rather than round.

Rig looks awesome - every time I see flat fenders, I want them but I think my 285’s won’t look right with them.
