This is how I've done my top the past couple of days and it so far has stayed back to where it needs to be. Flip the crossbar down and forward and slide the top back to where the latches drop down between the crossbar and rollbar/ sound bar. The latches will slide forward a tad and finally catch onto the cross bar and keep from sliding forward.

I also noticed today that the top has somehow lost one of the zippers on the rear passenger side while the windows were off. Looks like I'll be contacting Rugged Ridge tomorrow.
