I bought an aFe power axel back and am happy with the sound. Not annoyingly loud, has a nice deep tone at idle / low RPM and pretty much sound like stock at highway speeds. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money and this fit the bill.

I've got it. It's just right.no drone. Not too loud but you hear it. Also it fits nicely up high under the rear. Out of the way and isn't real visible.

Flowmaster muffler, couple bends, and hangers.

100 bucks, works great.

MagnaFlow makes a number of axle-back and cat-back exhausts for the JK, depending on the JK model and what kind of exhaust exit you want (dual rear exit, turndown before tire, etc.). You can see the list of 2007-2011 exhausts here and the 2012-2016 exhausts here. They'll all give you a nice smooth, deep sound that is pretty moderate at idle and cruise while also swelling nicely as you open the throttle. The systems are all mandrel-bent and built from 100 percent stainless steel here in our Rancho Santa Margarita, California, facility.

I am running a Gibson Performance Metal Mulisha exhaust I got on Amazon for $316. Sounds good at idle and while driving, only time it sounds like a Honda is when I rev it up. https://video-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hv...8c&oe=55C959A1

I'm always been a fan...but I put on the black cat back last year. Jeep stored all winter I am starting to get some rust. What's up with that?

In places with a lot of salted roads over the winter, our stainless systems do occasionally develop surface-only rust, which can be removed. It is a bit unusual on the black-coated exhaust, however. Feel free to PM me with more info or give our tech line a call (1-800-990-0905 or 1-949-858-5900).
