Congrats on taking the plunge! Finished mine in November I think or beginning of December. But anyway. Expect a month or two to get all your shit from Todd.

Anyway, put together a little thread with some decent info. It may save you some stress and aggravation and know a little of at to expect before, during and after the swap. It was fun and not as crazy as one might think. Let me know if you have any questions.

He is running the JSS kit as well with a Grand Cherokee 5.7. He has a write up as well with some good info. A link will be provided within the link I posted above.

So just an update: I flew my dad into town for a few weeks for him to help me with the Hemi swap. Unfortunately I still haven't gotten all my parts from Jeep Speed Shop. I did get some of the larger hard parts including the motor mounts and some of the adapters. Still waiting on the wiring, the computer, the exhaust, and fan shroud. The 3.8 is out but I'm stuck until I get the rest of the pieces. I think the frustrating part is I don't have a timeline of when I'm getting the parts... just that they are coming at some point. I have considered sending the parts back, getting a refund, and going with the Burnsville kit just so I don't have to deal with not knowing when the rest of my parts will arrive.

The other required pieces for the build (from the build list) have all come in, including the ones on backorder.

The swap doesn't seem so difficult so far, but I haven't started stuffing the Hemi into the smaller engine bay yet either. I've basically been using the AEV kit instructions and the thread to a JSS build on the Jkowner forum as a guide.

Yeah... with no links or direct instructions. So I'm looking at the AEV or the other forum thread.. then trying to find if there is a video that matches on the JSS youtube page.
