Is the life time PT warranty something you had to purchase when you bought the rig, above and beyond the 3y/36k?

My 3y/36k just expired.

It came standard with the vehicle around 08 and 09.

At the expiration of the 3 year/36,000 mile Basic Limited Warranty, Chrysler Motors LLC extended to the original purchaser or retail lessee of each 2006 model year, 2007 model year, 2008 model year, and 2009 model year Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicle sold and delivered on or after July 26, 2007 a limited powertrain warranty for the lifetime of that original purchaser or retail lessee.


Your 2013 JK's Powertrain Limited Warranty lasts for up to 5 years or 100,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first, calculated from the start date of the Basic Limited Warranty
