Are your lifetime warranties purchased? Or given free as a negotiated deal?

Mine was purchased with the monthly payment and once my jeep is paid off the warranty still stands as long as I have the jeep. Also it's transferable if I want to give the jeep to my son I can transfer the warranty to him.

OK. Thanks. I was just wondering how you got the warranty.
I always thought I'd try to negotiate for a free lifetime warranty if I ever bought another new JK.

My buddy just bought a 2014 JK with 35,000 miles on it last Friday. He called and got the lifetime factory warranty for $2584 and he's happy as a lark.

Call Tom Winkles for what is likely the best deal you can find on the lifetime warranty (assuming you are within 4yrs/48,000 miles).

Your 2013 JK's Powertrain Limited Warranty lasts for up to 5 years or 100,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first, calculated from the start date of the Basic Limited Warranty
Thanks Ron! I stupidly assumed the 3/36 covered the PT too. Good to know!

Sounds like a great dealer. Nice to see I've still got some miles left in the original 3.8, congrats on making it to 200,000

104k on my 08 JKUR, and running great. I've had a clutch squeak fixed, fix for popping out of gear, replaced a cat, and a seeping diff cover all fixed, so other than the popping out of gear, no major issues. I replaced the slave cylinder at 90k, but that wasn't covered by the warranty.

Mine came with the Jeep as an incentive at the time. I'm planning on buying a 2019 or 20 Wrangler, but may or may not trade this one. It is in great shape and the warranty makes me want to just keep it.

I've got a 2" lift and 33" BFG tires and my dealer had no problem with the 5 year inspection. It passed with flying colors.
