Rained on 430N Tounch Screen Buttons Not Working
I got caught in the rain with my top down. No big deal, it's a jeep. Well, now my touch screen buttons on my 430N stereo won't work. I can see the screen and all aspects of the stereo work perfectly expect for the touch screen buttons. Is there a quick fix for this or am I going to have to replace it?

It might just need resetting. I know there is a fuse under the hood for the radio and other interior stuff. Maybe if you pull it, let it sit for a few minutes, and then put it back it will correct the issue.
I don't have any experience with it personally, but a guy I know has the regular non-touch screen version and every time he gets rained on his radio quits completely. Then he pulls the fuse waits a few minutes, then puts it back and everything goes back to normal.
Hope this helps!

Was curious if you found a fix. Had same think happen to me a couple months ago. Screen was a little clouded over and wasn't working at all. Dried out and started working but when I touch the middle of the screen it thinks I'm touching the bottom. Hasn't gotten any better. Otherwise the radio and steering wheel controls function just fine.

I ended up replacing the screen for about $250. It works good and it was easy to do. Link below to screen and replacement video.

I was just looking at one of those. Mine is technically still under warranty so I've considered taking it to the dealer and see if they will replace. I doubt they'll even ask many questions and just replace it but that angel on my shoulder is shaking it's head. Otherwise I've been considering an aftermarket upgrade so I may dump my money into that. Thanks.
