Default Clock spring recall...still a myth?

My VIN still does not register in the Jeep Recall database. Anyone out there having luck yet??

08 JKU. Airbag light on 12 months.

Just curious.

It's likely gonna take a few months for them to have parts available before they start emailing.

I had my clockspring get replaced by a mechanic shop. I've since sold the jeep. Any chance I can get a refund?

If you have a receipt....maybe. Usually you've got to prove ownership as well so maybe a copy of an old registration, the receipt, and a nice letter sent off to Reimbursements if/ when they finally start rolling out the recall.

Got the recall in the mail today. Replacement free of charge on my 08 but they do not have the parts. Will send another mailing when available.

Just got my recall notice today for my 10. When parts are available. I have had my light taped over for 2 years so it would pass inspection.

Got my recall notice today for my 08
Mine specifically says if your light is on they will fix it free of charge and then when the part that won't allow dust to get in (the re-engineered part) is available then they will replace it again with the new part even if you already had the non re-engineered part replaced
