Help identifying a military antenna
Hello fellow Jeepers. Just needed some assistance identifying specific model/ term or type of antenna. Saw this antenna on a Facebook page and when I asked where I can get the antenna I got the reply from "eBay. I was hoping to get a more detailed description of not only the type of antenna but where I can get the mount in between the front and rear doors. I really like the look of the military antenna... think it looks cool and different. Thanks in advance.

There are numerous antenna kits that go on the HMMWV.
AS-3900A
AS-1729
AS-2885
Best bet for finding mil spec equipment is a military surplus retailer.
Looking at the rig in the picture looks like he got those 37s from a HMMWV as well.

Just so you know CB radio if your going to use that Uses 27mhz to 28mhz some where in that range. I don't think that any of the military ones were optimized for that band. You could probably get them to work though.
