Default misting system

I have been looking and can't find much out there has anyone made or purchased a misting system for your jk links to write ups or products would be appreciated
I am sure I can throw one together but would like to learn all the tips others have learned along the way
I just got back from Moab last week where the temps were 110 and higher and would like a slick misting system I can mount up in my jk

Hand this to your significant other. Tell them you can take turns.

Seriously though, that sounds like a great idea. Looking forward to what you come up with.

I have read a few reviews of systems that were on the market soon posted years ago I'm guessing they never made it
And then one that a guy made one kinda redneck using a windshield wiper tank and some spray nozzles
It seems that the more pressure the finer the mist the better it cools so I'm not sure what I want to do quite yet

There's a write up and thread about making the stock rear bumper a pressurized running water carrier (https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-w...r-tank-270419/). I bet you could combine that with something like this from Amazon and you'd be set... https://www.amazon.com/Orbit-20066-P.../dp/B000P0KSXO Only if you have the stock bumper still... Or fab something similar. This is a great idea by the way! I'm in AZ and it's hot as hell right now!

50ish psi. You want something higher than though to create the fine mist that you need. 150-300psi. should do the trick.

The misting system listed said not to use a booster pump that's why I'm asking

When we had our Early Broncos with no A/C, we used hand held plastic spray bottles filled with water! One of the reasons we bought a new Rubicon with A/C twice!

This sounds like my grandpa back in my day....... Just kidding
I had a few K5's back in my day and the ac didn't work and I bought a Rubicon and a bunch of other crap before that my ac is frosty cold I just haven't figured out a way to stay cool when the top and doors are off and that is how I roll all summer long today was 103° and after being in a garbage truck with no ac for 12 hours I want to turn on the mist and chill while driving home
Ain't nobody feeling or looking cool (both meanings of the word) while driving down the road spraying themselves in the face like a cat that just got caught jumping on the counter
Just sayin

Spiderweb Shade is a big help. When it's that hot, not being in the direct sun is huge. Makes upper 90's almost tolerable. Best $90 I've ever spent.
