Default Rear Cargo Rack Setups

Since I have a 2dr, I'm always looking for better storage ideas. I have a small trailer I can use for larger trips, and I have modified a hitch mount carrier for other times. I'm working on some sort of shelf or rack for the inside, but I also carry a few dogs sometimes, making that less useful.

Looking to mounting outside, I didn't like the hitch mounted carrier. Even after modifying it to tilt down, I can't open the rear door with anything on the carrier. I've seen a few of these racks which mount around the spare tire, but I have a teraflex hinge/carrier and I have yet to see anything compatible.

My latest have been items like these which mount using the tire mount. Anyone used them? Any better ideas?

The first rack looks very light duty and the second has some serious square leading up to it but uses the ATV rack only designed for very light loads.

Since you've got the upgraded hinge and carrier, would something like the link below work?

Look at this..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/112039194318

ooh, that's interesting. I think the rack I currently have is too wide and heavy to be up that high though. Just looking for room for some light items.
