Smell antifreeze but no visible leaks...
After shutting the engine off I smell antifreeze but I cant find a leak anywhere. Not underneath or on the engine. Is it coming from the overflow reservoir? Should I pay to have it checked? It is out of warranty.

with that complaint we see it's almost always the radiator. small leak at the upper cores. very hard to see! pull the air intake tube & coolant resivore, peak in through the fan shroud towards the drivers side upper core area. seems too be where they leak most

Just dropped our jeep off yesterday for the same thing...I've gone thru 2 litres of antifreeze in a couple months. Dealer figures leaky radiator and will replace under warranty.

A couple of years ago - same thing. I finally saw a pin hole leak in the end of he radiator while the engine was hot. The spray coming out was a super fine mist. No puddles.

I used bars liquid aluminum stop leak in my radiator. Didn't expect it to hold up very well but lasted 2 and a half months till I could get a new radiator. Had a small hole by my upper radiator hose but it filled it. Lots of people worry about clogged heater cores and such using it but everyone I know who has used bars has never had any issues

I bought a new OEM fit radiator online. Tax and delivery was under $100. Spent about 3 hours changing it out myself. That was 4 years ago. Now I have another leak in the same area! The OEM style has a plastic head on both ends. This time I'll spend $375 and get an all metal one.
