Default factory radio

hi guys
what would be the quickest and cheapest way to make the factory sound system, sound better?

I have 2014 JKU Sahara with the N430 radio....

would it be replacing the speakers? adding an amp?

please, if you have advice, please share. thansk!

There are several posts on here about building a better sounding system.

Basically you are going to be limited by your factory head unit for the most part. Replacing the speakers with quality aftermarket speakers and adding an amp to run those will help, but your limiting factor is still going to be the sound quality produced by the factory head unit. I am getting ready to start my build, but I am going to have to do it slowly as funds are available. I plan to replace the head unit first followed by all new speakers, amps and finally a sub and another amp.

That's what I have now. A Pioneer 4100NEX with a removable face plate. Great HU for the money.

I just put in a 2 sets of POLK DXi651s / batting in the boxes and disconnected the small tweeters and it is much improved had to turn the bass down . I tried it first with the stock tweeters hooked up and all they do is buzz when you turn it up. I have an amp and subwoofer but haven't installed them yet . I will say the stock radio sucks but if your using a cd or ipod the sound quality is good Its a jeep they aren't built with quality audio in mind and with the top off forget it .

I kept the factory head unit for now, (can't decide what to buy) but replaced all the speakers, Kickers in the sound bar and Polks up front, we don't have radios stations worth a crap around here so it's all itunes for music which translates real well through the new speakers. Total investment $230, so far...
