1976 cj7 with a 304
So I just bought a 1976 cj7 with a 304 for my understanding that's a 5.0 liter by any chance does anyone know I can add my long tube hooker headers of my chevy k5

The 304 is a nice engine and headers shouldn't be too expensive for it. A buddy had a CJ with one and put a set with side pipes on it when we were kids, no rocks within a few hundred miles so luckily never bashed the side pipes but it ran nice.

Drove my buddies CJ with a 304 back in the day, was thinking of buying it and that motor was strong. Hope yours has power brakes, his didn't but you're gonna want them.

I had a 76' with a 304 and swapped in a 401. The 304, 360 and 401 are petty much identical on the outside. That would be the way to go if you want more power.
