I'm thinking about buying a SAHARA from someone and although I believe the person is selling a sahara because of the stock looking leather seats that have "SAHARA" written on it and the side sticker, matching body color fender and the silver center bumper piece. But, why is it that when I do a VIN search it comes up as a SPORT?

Any thoughts, opinions, facts? I'm only asking the question because when I go to resell this thing in the future i'm sure I'm going to get the same questions. I guess I could solve that issue by never selling it.

All of those pieces can be added relatively easily and for pretty cheap in relation to potential resale value. I'd make an offer based on the VIN. The VIN is also stamped on the right framerail (US passenger side) if you think the VIN you're looking at may be tampered.
