Thanks for this write up. It was super easy to do, especially considering I'm pretty much a "Tim the Tool Man" with vehicles.

I tried this write up this weekend using the parts specified and I can't seem to get the point where the hoses connect to stop leaking. I've tried wrenching down the clamps as tight as i can, but it still seeps out. Any ideas?

Did you use the barbs fittings that came with the cooler or buy some different. Just asking bc I tried using the ones in the B&M pack and they leaked for some reason. I purchased some at Home Depot and no leaks. Post pics so we can see your setup and maybe spot the problem.

I used barbs from Home Depot and for some reason can't get it to stop leaking. I'm taking it to a 4WD shop next week to see if they can fix it

I don't recall seeing that on the list of parts to use. Has anyone else use it and have good results?

This question is like a virus that won't die. Factory warranties are not automatically void with aftermarket parts. The factory or warranty company must prove that the aftermarket part caused the failure. This was litigated years ago and the automakers lost.

That's an interesting thought. makes sense.
My 09 Rubicon trans fluid cooler is on the A/C condenser. Doesn't run through the radiator. know that because for most warranties, the trans re manufacturers require proof of radiator replacements. I ordered a new rad before I knew this and was plenty upset with myself for nor looking first.

Either find another dealer or an employee there with a brain.
More entertaining, ask him for written proof of his assertion, then sit back and watch the fun.
