Okay so I know this is all about tj and jk but I har a question for you guys, how do I get more flex out of my stock shackles? And why does upgraded shackles that don't have the middle brace flex Better thanks guys

You don't. Replace factory shackles with boomerang shackles or greasable shackles. Don't over tighten them. You can try torquing stock shackles to proper tightness, usually lesser than you think.

Since we are on this subject..... Has anyone ever heard of a product from Deaver Leaf Springs called Bajha Bushings. I almost put them on my 79 Ford Bronco,but ended up selling the Bronco. The Bushings replace the stock spring eye bushings, and work like a johnny joint. It helps limit the amount of twist on the leaf when flexing, causing the spring to be able to compress even more ( I think)

The shape of the boomerang shackles allows them to lay down farther before contacting the frame. I had a 89 YJ and when I got it the thing rode like it had no suspension. I found that all of the leaf bushings were over tightened. I replaced the bushings with grease-able ones and torqued the new hardware to spec. The hardware should use locking fasteners. Once tightened they will not be applying very much pressure at all. The leafs need to be able to rotate. As for the sway bar, I rarely had mine attached.
